Am I the only one using pause when I need to leave the room ?
I already submitted this bug with the previous version, but it’s still here.
When I click on “pause” its label does not switch to “resume” (but the request for pausing has been recorded, so the machine will pause eventually).
When I click a second time on “pause” its label now switches to “resume” when in fact the pause has been released.
This is a bug and can get very confusing.
The communication is buffered.
The firmware in the laser engraver handles how it responds to a Pause command.
I will track down your submission and the status of the bug report.
While I track it down, I’d like to confirm the model number and firmware version of your Ortur engraver.
In LightBurn with your Ortur connected, enter the following request for a report:
$i
followed by enter.
Please copy and paste the short report into a reply here so that I’ll know exactly which firmware version you are working with.

Also running Lightburn 1.4.00 via USB on a 2013 iMac running MacOS 10.15.7 Catalina.
I know there is a buffer, which is the reason why sometimes the acual pause do not happen immediately (I experienced latencies of over 30’ when burning long lines).
What I am reporting here is unrelated to this : when I click on “pause” the label on the button NEVER changes to “resume” unless I click on pause again. On this second click the label changes to “resume” but the burn is also resumed.
