5-head Laser. All heads won't fire all the sudden, however Water and Door interfaces seem functional

Hello,
We’ve been using a 5-head laser for over a year now with no real issues. All heads are run from the Laser 1 terminal. Came in today to the machine running fine, but the lasers won’t fire.

Power supply lights show solid Yellow (Interlocks are good) and they blink green when the machine is running, so it seems the controller is sending the info along. The tubes will not fire via the control “Test” button nor the physical “test” button on the power supplies themselves.

The only thing I can think that would contribute to this is some safety interlock preventing it from firing the laser. Is there anything else that would do that?

Usually the laser will fire from the lps ‘test’ button. That generally over rides all of the protection mechanisms.

I’d venture to guess an lps… I would guess you have more than one… so

Maybe a little more detail, as I don’t know how each tube gets selected to fire…

Picture would be good or a link to a similar machine…

It would have to be something common to all devices. Such as the water protect going to the lps’s instead of the controller. That would cause the laser not to fire. I think it’s the P terminal… Mine is just grounded on my Ruida 6442…
