Acyrlic Statuette Tips

Hello all,

New to the laser world. I was wondering what everyone used to produce acrylic statuettes, specifically, how you might get a “foot” on the bottom that would stick right into the base so that all bases are the same.

Is there a certain program/service you use to create the cut line?

See attached screenshot for reference. Mainly asking about the white part near the base.

Thank you in advance.

Typically I will make a small recess and a counterpart, as shown in that example.

For your project, a “nose” with the width of your material and the length you want should be made on the underside of the dancer’s foot.
This can be done with node editing or with boolean operations.
A corresponding hole should be made in the base plate, preferably a little tight.
If you have the project drawing, you can send it up here and I can make a demo/suggestion.
