I have been using the trial version of lightburn on my PC for about 2 weeks now and I have frequent problems with the software crashing. I would like to try the software on out other home laptop to try to troubleshoot this issue and determine if it is my computer that is causing the problem. How do I load this onto a second computer since I am using the trial software? thank you

How does it know it’s a new device?
LightBurn uses a “fingerprinting” mechanism similar to Windows Activation to determine each unique computer. This is why a hardware swap or sometimes an OS glitch can sometimes require a reactivation in LightBurn. I haven’t had this happen on Windows but I recall having my activation be “lost” on at least 2 separate occasions on Mac. It was never apparent what exactly was responsible for that but simply reentering the key was sufficient to restore function.
