Adding button to "pulse" air assist to air assist solenoid

Hello, I’m looking for the best way to wire a push button so I can “pulse” the air assist as needed for cleaning the nozzle or blowing junk out of the way. I’ve got the air assist solenoid connected to my compressor. What is the best power source to tap into for power? It would have to be always on.

Well, what power does the solenoid need?

Tapping into the power supply for the control-side of your laser (not the high voltage supply, if CO2!) may be possible, but you’ll want to be sure that you have ample power supply head room and run appropriate safety devices (fuses)

There are many ways to wire this kind of setup…

It really depends on how yours is wired…

How are you activating the air assist, via status or wind?

If so, these are open collector sinks then a button to ground would accomplish the same thing.
