After creating a templete and jig, alignment is off

Hi there! I have been using Lightburn with an Xtool 20w D1 Pro for about 6 months and everything has gone just fine. I started creating templates and and jigs (i downloaded the jig file from ClackShack) to knock out batch work. I cut the puzzle ends that affix to the laser feet and attached those, I then cut the large blank pieces that I can then cut the shapes of the items I want to batch (at the same make those cut lines a tool path and lock the shapes in location), and mark which puzzle end is where on the laser jig, everything should be lined up every time I open that file, but no. After I close the file and reopen it, the locked tool paths are in the same spot on the screen and when I load artwork into the tool path shape, the alignment is too far down and too far to the left causing misalignment worked every single time. Is there something I am doing wrong? I am sure the solution is simple, but for the life of me, i cannot figure it out! Thanks for any help!

Are you working in absolute coordinates? I use a similar jig system and the keys are you must be in absolute coordinates, the jig must attach to the same teeth every time (I have a mark on each half of the jig so they always go back in the same place), and you have to lock the cutouts in place in Lightburn so nothing moves.

I am in absolute coordinates and i do mark the tooth that lines up with the fixed jig. It seems that it’s always off by the same amount in the same directions Everytime and it’s super frustrating because I do work hard to ensure that it’s right. And based on LA hobby guys videos, it seems that it is

Do you have pointer offset enabled? Is that the amount it’s off by?

I’ll have to check when I get home. That may be it because it’s always off by the same amount! Thank you
