After stopping job lightburn is loosing the laser position

Hey there,
I am new here, so hope this is the right place.
When I do stop (not pause) any job, lightburn looses the position so I need to do the homing every time.
Does anybody have an idea?
The console shows me the following error:
" ALARM:3

In Bewegung zurücksetzen. Grbl kann die Position nicht garantieren. Verlorene Schritte sind wahrscheinlich. Die Rückkehr zur Ausgangsposition wird dringend empfohlen." ALARM:3
Reset in motion. Grbl cannot guarantee the position. Lost steps are likely. Returning to the starting position is strongly recommended.
I appreciate every idea and help :slight_smile:

Don’t push stop if you want to preserve position.

You may be able to work around this by first pushing pause, then stop.

hey, thanks for this hint. But it doesn´t work… it is realy strange.

What do you mean it doesn’t work? What happens instead?

And to confirm, during a running job you push pause, after it’s paused you then push stop. You’re saying that doesn’t return control and retain position?

If it doesn’t work then it’s possibly a firmware issue. Take a screenshot of what you’re seeing.
