I imported a AI file several times but the software keeps crashing. I made a screenshot but don’t know how to sent it to you.
Go to File -> Save As in Illustrator, and save over the old file, but change your save options to disable compression. Adobe had to go mess around with file formats in the latest update, and compression breaks the import.

Assuming it’s an AI 2020 file, Blake’s suggestion is the correct one. If it’s not, you can email the file and the screen shot to developer at lightburnsoftware dot com.
