Air assist / Cut Assist - would this do the job

So I have a laser diode. It is only 3.5w so I appreciate I will not be cutting through armoured steel with it anytime soon.

Ever keen to fettle and improve however I felt air assist might be beneficial. I have, thanks to the support of a fellow forum member, obtained an air assist funnel which fits to the end of my diode laser to direct the air where it needs to go.

My nest question is the air provider!

Would this suffice for my needs.

OR

I have seen that many propose ‘more air the better’ etc but I am on a budget, I only do this for a hobby and I am using this with a 3018 machine so I do not need an industrial compressor.

I’m thinking cheap and chearful.

Any thoughts on the above links?

The compressor in the image is identical to the one shipped with my 60W CO2 laser, which has been working well for quite a few years. It’s not particularly noisy, nor particularly quiet. Some improvement was made in the noise level by placing it on an EVA foam pad.
