Another source of Alarm 3 besides communication (USB) is faulty power connection or triggered sensors.

  1. E-Stop switch
  2. Power switch
  3. Tilt sensor
  4. Flame sensor
  5. Door or lid interlock
  6. Power plug to controller
  7. Weak power supply

Yes, and it’s worth mentioning that potential root causes of Alarm 3 can offer a prior Error or Alarm code before being scrolled out of the Console window in LightBurn.

The text in the Console window is scrollable and selectable, allowing it to be copied. You copied the Alarm 3 message above and that’s the best approach for being accurate. Thank you.

When the error message appears again, scroll up and confirm that no other possible cause is offered by the laser engraver. If you do see an Error or Alarm message prior to Alarm 3 please select and copy a block of text from the Console window containing both messages and paste it here.

I think we’re very close to a solution.
