Please help, im using K40 50w laser and cant get pass this…

At 4.000 mm pull-off you should be able to see the engrave head move toward the limit switches, change the state of the switch, then move away from the switch 4mm.

This error occurs when:

The engraver moves away as opposed to toward the limit switches when starting the homing operation.
or
One of the switches is misaligned or faulty.
or
Something is physically preventing the laser head or gantry from activating the switch when homing.

Let us know what you see when you perform a homing operation and perhaps where the Limit Switches are located.

Has this been running and now it won’t home or is this new installation of limit switches?

The message indicates it activated the switch but the switch failed to ‘de-activate’ when the head backed off. You should be able to physically see this as @JohnJohn mentioned.

It can also occur if the homing speed is too high and it’s backoff distance to too small.
