Alarm 9: Homing Issue...after using the laser many times

I’ve used the laser many times. Went to start it up today and began getting the message below. Won’t home on the start. X axis motor vibrates and stutters as it moves and doesn’t seem to now when to stop.

Any help would be appreciated!

ALARM:9

Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. Defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases.

Did you check the switch and wiring for failure?
