Align objects adjacent to each other

I’ve kept meaning to request this… Looking for the ability to “align adjacent”. As an example, two boxes separated horizontally by empty space. Select first object on right, select 2nd object on left, -> “align adjacent, horizontal”. The left-most edge of the right-hand object should align with the right-most edge of the left-hand object.

This is marked as done in https://lightburn.fider.io/posts/415/align-selected-shapes-next-to-each-other, but I’m not seeing the option/ability.

What you seek is in the Arrange, Distribute menu selections. Move V together or Move H together should perform the task you describe.

Thanks, @fred_dot_u. I was looking for a tool icon/shortcut. I remember seeing those quite a while ago and never tried them.

That was what I needed.
