You don’t know how much is enough until you do the testing. Comparing your numbers to mine, I am pretty sure yours was more than enough.

Looks good! Do not know if it is available where you live, but to preserve that natural wood look I use Varithane water-based urethane gloss spray. Does a good job of sealing in the soot too.
