Helo, My intention is to cut RC ribs for airplane. I imported a pdf file into lightburn
After importing, I then left mouse clicked the area outside the pdf file so it was no longer in focus. I then select/click the “Select” Arrow. I then select a particular rib to highlight and move to work area., I should be able to drag it to my work area not the entire pdf file. Problem is:
Even after I click outside the pdf file and attempt to select a rib, the pdf file is not anchored and moves each time i attempt to select a rib and prevents me from selecting/highlighting that selected object.
Question, how do you keep a pdf/jpg file from moving so that I can select an object (rib) and drag/drop that rib to the work area.
(I looked at a youtube “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUPTBWkOphE&t=183s” video
and it was pretty straight forward, so I must be missing something, but what?

Without a screenshot I can’t say for sure, but it sounds like your PDF is grouped. Right click> ungroup and try again.
