Hello can anyone point me in the direction of buying a nano board the same as this, I could not find one anywhere, it belongs to my k40 laser, and stupidly wired it up wrong, C3D Board seems to have bitten the dust, so need to drop in a standard board, for now, to get jobs done, can I use the ribbon cable nano to get me sorted, for now, my machine has no ribbon cable,
The video and your posted question, seem unrelated. It appears you are using the board ?
So what is the question? Replacement or that it won’t fire the laser?
If you know the board is dead…? Am I missing something?
How did you wire it up incorrectly. Some things you can get away with that, maybe be more specific on how you “wired it up wrong”. Most of the controllers I’ve dealt with won’t let you plug the thing in wrong way around. However, I’ve never owned a K40 type.
Hiya buddy don’t get the 2 boards mixed up, the cohesion3d board just stopped working on its own, so I thought I would drop the old nano board in to keep it going,( BUT)
put the power cables in the Y-Axis plug and fried the stepper driver, you can see on the nano board the fried driver, hope this clears it up for you.

The average cost of a new nano is about $70. If you head over to this forum, you might find someone who has one available or you might be able to talk to Ray who is the designer and originator of the C3D board. He is an active participant. I would consider an alternative to replacing the original board.
Yeah I can get the new nano for ÂŁ15.00 English, but that is for the ribbon cable option, which I do not have, I have the C3D and it lasted 13mths not good really, I have posted on the C3D forum and to be honest, they are slower at replies, with some occasions the post closes after 14 days and you have to re-post again and again, the Lightburn forum is awesome for tech info as its full of helpful folk, with loads of knowledge, so posted here at the same time as C3D forum, 3/4 replies here non yet on c3d, posting the cohesion off to a company tomorrow to check and fix the board, also asked them how much to clone it to ÂŁÂŁ$$, so I can have a spare board with a few better bits in it connections, etc, have had to turn away over ÂŁ1500 of orders because of the fault, funny how it runs fine but will not fire the tube up, it is either something simple or very costly, but is definitely a running issue with the board as a lot of people seem to have the problem.
Finding a nano the same as mine is almost impossible, was wondering if the ribbon cable one can be fitted without the ribbon cable as when you look at the pin-out it has another jack for end-stops, which mine uses.
Thanks for the reply buddy
