Hi,
I have the latest version of Lightburn and can’t seem to get it to work. I downloaded the latest CH34x driver and installed it apparently successfully.

When I check the system settings there is no sign of it in the USB “tree”

I also tried the Terminal command as suggested in the setup instructions for the driver and that also returns a nothing found.

Would I be right in thinking that at the moment Lightburn won’t work with this laser and laptop

You are connecting directly to a USB type C port?

Try using a USB 2.0 hub or dongle and connect using a standard USB A cord.

There are known issues with the USB C controllers on Mac.

Brilliant! Thank you so much, I’ve been a Mac user for over 40 years and still I don’t quite get it when it comes to things like leads, hubs and compatibility, you would have thought that I had learned by now :rofl:
