Hi all, bought this a few weeks back but not had much time to use it.
Using it today for a short time, luckily noticed arcing through a small hole in the chassis at the rear of the bed, opened the tube hatch and found it was coming from the tube exit wire or the low power end cable.
For some unknown reason it seems they have cut the black wire which usually leads to the power supply and spliced a piece of white wire behind the tube which runs to the power supply, it’s arcing from the join.
Just in case anyone else has recently bought one, it’s a OMTech 80w.
Check to see if yours is wired the same.
Shall be changing out the wire as soon as…
Apart from that it’s a great piece of kit.
