Atomstack A20 wont connect wifi with Lightburn

Hi. I’m a newbie to lasers and am failing miserably to get my A20 to work wirelessly with Lightburn. The PC can see and connect to the laser on wifi but the laser remains stubbornly disconnected to Lightburn. Any ideas please?

Is the Atomstack A20 advertised to work with Lightburn through WiFi?

Many WiFi supported lasers do not work in a way that support LightBurn. How is the WiFi configuration done on the Atomstack?

How is this done? Does the laser WiFi present itself an AP?

As far as I know it only works with the phone app.

I’m failing to get the phone app to connect too. The sales literature say it’ll work on-line, offline and on the app but I’m getting something wrong.

The sales literature seems to say it will work with Lightburn over Wifi but I’m starting to doubt it.

The A20 doesn’t present itself as an app; my PC can see it as a device to connect to but when I connect all I can do it list its information (addresses, etc) but without any functionality. The manual is extremely basic so I’m relying on Youtube where there is a video of someone connecting with Wifi but using LaserGRBL not Lightburn. I’ve failed to connect using either - all I can do is see it as an enabled device.
Regarding the phone app; my phone’s Wifi can see the A20 but the Atomstack App on the phone cannot see or connect to it.

Does it specifically say this? Or does it only mention WiFi capability? If there’s an app it’s usually with only that app that WiFi is functional.

I was actually asking if it was presenting itself as an Wireless Access Point (AP).

I assume you mean as a WiFi AP but please confirm.

Can you link this video? If LaserGRBL can connect in one its variable connection types it might be coaxed to work with LightBurn but I suspect it won’t be a great experience.

This is likely your best bet. The fact that it doesn’t work implies there’s a more fundamental issue at play.

Are you following some set of instructions on this?

A20 Pro cannot be connected to LightBurn with wifi. But you can connect A20 Pro to Atomstack app through wifi.
