You should use absolute co-ordinates. The default when powered on is where the head is when you power it on. I use the lower left as Absolute so when I plug it in it matches the screen.
You should use search for this site to find answers, but the first thing you should do is run a power scale for each type of wood you will be using.
That’s going to take searching as well as trial and error. Lots of variables and the you need to manipulate the image before you try a burn for best results. Check out the finished projects area for some settings as well as some projects.
