Trying to set up my new machine. I have Lightburn 1.7.06 running on windows 10. Using the camera alignment programme in Lightburn the machine frames the cut properly and draws the first alignment disc (no 4) at the front left corner then moves to where alignment disc 3 should be drawn but immediately returns to home and exits the programme without making any further cuts. Pressing next causes the machine to jerk right from the home position (rear left) and lock up. Homing recovers the laser to the rear left home position.
Sounds like the controller main chip is resetting itself in the middle of a job?
When this happens, do you see any error or alarm messages in the Console Window?
If so, copy and paste them here please.
Check the power adapter is plugged in properly with no loose connectors/plugs.
Ensure you have complete and unrestricted movement by manually jogging the laser head around using the arrow buttons in the ‘Move Window’, while you do this keep an eye on the wiring/connectors looking for any snags, stress or vibration that might impact the electronics.
