Atomstack hurricane

Buongiorno
Utilizzo Lightburn rel.
Grazie

Buongiorno,

They don’t mention how to lower the sensitivity of the fire sensor in the manual, but for the “Active fire extinguishing” feature needs to be enabled in Atomstack’s software:

Install that and see, if you have options to control the flame detection sensor.

No way to do that. The Fire Alert is only on or off. You can disable it from the console but you cant do it for specific materials

Usually, this can be set to a value to change the sensitivity instead of completely turning it off.

I missed the part that you only want to disable it when cutting leather.
I don’t see a direct way of doing that, but try this workaround:

Set up a Macro for both the enable- and disable command for easier access.
In your version 1.6, that’s done in the “Console” window. (Newer LightBurn versions have a separate “Macro” window that works in the same way.)

Then, open “Edit > Device Settings” and Enable Job Checklist. Enter a reminder and klick OK:

Thinking again, a cheeky way of doing it is:

Duplicate your laser (right click in the Devices menu), append “Leather” to one of them, and enter the command to turn off the flame sensor in the “Start Code” here:

Add the command to turn on the sensor in the other laser’s Start Gcode and select the devices depending on the material.

Let me know if that works, if you give it a try.

Ti sono infinitamente grato
Mi hai aiutato a risolvere il problema agendo sulla console
:hugs:

Di niente!

Can you tell us the command to turn the sensor on and off, for future visitors?

Thank you for sharing how it can be controlled in Atomstack’s software.

I couldn’t find a GCode to control this in LightBurn.

On that note, Please be careful and always stay next to the laser whenever it is running!
If you have switched off the sensor, the " Auto Fire Extinguisher" feature of the Hurricane stop working!
