Atomstack x40 pro laser module

I have an Atomstack X30 Pro laser - whose laser module is an M150 - 33W output. I was wondering if I could replace that module with the X40 Pro laser module. I don’t know that laser module’s model number. Anyone that has an X40 Pro - if you could look on the module and let me know what it is. Possibly M210.

Also, could I use the existing control board and power adapter that came with my X30 Pro? ANy and all insight is appreciated.

The X40 Pro Laser module is an M200. Dont know if its a direct swap or not. I would contact Atomstack.
But for what they charge for laser modules its probably more cost effective to just buy another machine

If you do manage to get one at a decent price you can buy a replacement x40 pro control board with everything prewired for about $90.00. The wiring configuration for the x30 and x40 are identical. I know that because i sold my x30 pro and had to replace the wiring and control board. Amazon sells them and also atomstack sells them

I can’t seem to find an m200 laser module anywhere. You’re probably right - just buy another laser. Since diode technology is exponentially getting more powerful - I’ll probably wait and see what develops in the near future. Thanks for your response.

I love my X40 Pro. If i was buying another one it would probably be the X70 Pro. Has more power and also auto focusing and a little larger size 500 x 400 mm

I agree. I’m going to wait a little while before I pull the trigger on the X 70 pro, or X 70 pro max. Possibly by the end of of the year, they’ll be more options, and possibly more power. I don’t know how, but technology advancements are incredible
