i have 3 dxf files that require 4 copies of each to be cut, I know i can add and duplicate each dxf file to the correct number - but can Lightburn take all of the cuts in the scene and auto arrange them on the canvas, so i dont have to manually move them?

This depends on what you’re optimizing for. You can use the alignment and docking tools to arrange or reduce spacing as you’d like.
If you’re trying to nest shapes in an effort to optimize for maximum use of material LightBurn doesn’t currently include this function but does have integration with an external web based tool. More information here:
