Autodesk Inventor design into LightBurn

I have an Autodesk Inventor (.ipt) file that I created and I want to cut out with LightBurn. I printed the file to a .pdf and brought it into LB…but it is not to proper scale. Either what am I missing here or is there a better option to do this?

Much Thanks

I’m not very familiar with Inventor (I use SolidWorks and Fusion 360) but I expect it’s not been ‘printed’ full scale. If you can attach your PDF here it’ll increase the chance that someone can help.

I’d try exporting a different file type, such as DXF or SVG or even the native .AI which should open with Lightburn.

There is also settings on what type of file you are importing/opening…

Don’t know of anything for pdf specifically, but it’s not really a great format for moving stuff to different machines…

Good luck

WAs able to export face as a DXF based on this link: DXF Importing Blank - #8 by LightBurn

Did that solve the problem?
