I’d very much appreciate autofocus for ComMarker’s Omni X. The workaround of switching from LB to ComMarker Studio and back is quite annoying - and really, who would need ComMarker Studio at all, if Lightburn could autofokus and would support Z-Axis movement?
Just hang a chain with the right lenght down the front of the machine.
It’s on our list - we’re working to improve support for the Omni as well as a few other newer galvos with features like this.
The main thing for the Onmi is lens’ non-linear distortion which needs muiltipoint calibration.. Which you can’t do yourself with their software and the file they sent through doesn’t work with lightburn..

This is not about calibration. It’s about autofocus and Z-Axis movement.
I’d love to see autofocus and z-axis control support added. Sometimes I need to adjust the focus and using the buttons can be finicky to get an accurate adjustment. If the knob on the top was accessible that would be helpful, but being able to adjust the z axis in the software would be amazing.
LB Team, Z axis control was working great with the Omni X to do micro adjustments in the RC as the physical button movement is sledge hammer like. Please add this back for Galvo Users asap.
