I have an OMTech Max 1393. The laser has an autofocus built into the head.
If I want to trigger the autofocus, I first have to go to the menu on the RUIDA panel and then go all the way down to “Autofocus” and confirm.
Is there no solution to trigger the autofocus using an external button instead of going to the autofocus menu?
In Lightburn there is a button for the Z axis, but that is also a bit cumbersome (for me)
Don’t think they know how to drive these via Lightburn. Some functions haven’t been isolated so you can invoke them from inside Lightburn.
I don’t know the exact number as many don’t gripe, but lots of people with Z axes control say they are too much trouble.
Hang in there and see if you get something different from the Lightburn people.
