I recently got an extension kit for my longer ray 10w to take the 400mmx 400mm frame up to 1000mm x 1000mm. I love it. The kit comes just the frame so I had to dismantle my normal frame and use all the old frames hardware. Anyone know of any hardware kits that have replacement or extra feet, bolts and the 90 degree brackets for the frames? Just would love not to have to take everything apart every time as it’s a fair amount of messing around to do so. Appreciate any advice or help!
I would not call that a “kit”. Was that the only one you could find, or did you just buy longer (no pun intended) rails?
That’s how extension kits work. Do you want to switch back and forth between the smaller and larger frame? That doesn’t make sense since it requires careful tuning after each change. I’ve never seen any kit that includes more than what’s urgently necessary. So, upgrade the frame and throw away the leftovers. Ok, you never throw away anything, since you can always build something useful out of it, like a standalone rotary laser
