"BEEP" on completed scan?

Hey again,
Is there feature that allows lightburn to post an audible “BEEP” from the PC to let me know a scan has completed?
Seems silly but would certainly prove useful for those batched projects that you want to talk away from. Right now I’m doing about 20 small tokens and have them set up in a jig. When they’re done, I slide them out and slide a new one in; a beep would be helpful to know when theyre done without the hassle of constantly settings timers.
Thanks !

You should really never “Walk Away” from your machine when it’s running. I’ve heard reports of even someone engraving Slate that had a fire start. The belt on the machine broke and fell in front of the lens, and the machine sat there happily firing the laser as it though it was moving, but was stationary, and started the belt on fire. Machines should never be left unattended when running.

If you go to feature suggestions, where we can ask for something and the group votes on it… you will find it’s been asked a few times.

I think the main idea was not to encourage unattended operation… although this option exists on my fiber laser.

My machine lives outside the house on a cement patio. I’m not worried about it burning up. nobody’s paying me to sit and babysit 6 hour engravings. laser does its’ job and I do mine elsewhere.
i guess timers are gonna have to do. I have a nice OXO kitchen timer that’s super easy to use. the phone timers aren’t as convenient as you might think.
