You would need to convert the image to a shape by doing an image trace. Then they could both be on the same layer.

You have changed your wishes significantly from the start, but as long as you are satisfied with the result then everything is fine.
Only if I knew what my final wishes were at that time…

Why when I save it I lose the tool path T1 and the cut?
even if i save right after.
It creates a tool path around the whole rectangle.
