Once in a while I get an engraving that the laser simply shuts off for a time causing a blank section in engrave. I done two of the same image to see if it happened in same portion, did not. It was later

Assuming the Preview always correctly shows the missing parts …
If the machine is connected by USB, then always start by suspecting USB communication glitches that knock out parts of the commands going to the laser:
If it’s the CO₂ laser in your profile, it may be a failing HV power supply.
If it’s a diode laser, it can be:
A failing wire in the cable to the laser head
The laser head shutting down due to overheating
The power supply browning out
