ok I’ve spent hours and hours on different days with this @^$%^%$ bloody alarm sometimes its because its on continues when probing the z . and days like Today when I want to do a simple surface of the spoil board 25.4 or 1" surface bit …actually spetool W05001 …

the red border is inside the soft limits , unless the width of the tool is stoping it hasn’t before??? want it to machine slightly past , yet as I see it the actual bit is in the work area …
it show as if its working on the PREVIEW al good???
ill attempt to send some screen shots and Page 2 on the file …if I can, please bear with me..

when you click surface operation it highlights the black line which is 600 x 500 in size so bigger than work area, looks like you have assigned the wrong line warning goes away after reassigning to red line
on page 1 some of your circles are out of bound , like 0.02mm you need to zoom right in to see them , bore wont work as saying some of your ur circles are exact circles w12.998 xh12.999
the part i cant figure out is if i correct each circle individually it still wont work on all ( pink circles ) only 1 of them
but if i create new circles and duplicate them they work fine odd @mikey you like solving puzzels im running late so cant try and solve it at mo

new problem I did sort the alarm 2 out thank you!
but and maybe because I had it running all day , well not running but on and sorting alarm 2>
but at the end ,(and i’ve sent to support) the surface now only, shows the final perimeter and not all the surfacing as there’s 2 passes it only show the 2 perimeters ???. are the problems children cause !
PS yes its funny that earlier with the alarm2 issue the preview worked great for me too???
I could isolate the cause object, but did not determine why something was not a circle. However, I managed to kill the error messages.
The bottom row of circles was duplicated.
Then the left circle in the bottom row was determined to be the issue.
Pulled out and replaced it with a copy of the one next to it.
Getting off-grid error, so I deleted the one I pulled off.
Error messages went away but…
The second row from top was not showing in Preview, but no errors.
Deleted it, then copied first top row and slid it down.
Now all holes appear and all outputs ON give no error.
What I did was not magic, but just plain clean up work. I have a suspicion that weird circle (#2) was actually an oval, but I did not spot it in the Measure Tool. Not sure why it stayed linked to no1_ when I specifically unassigned it.
yeah that was odd ah ,not showing thats why i left in in there to seee if you got same issue that line was the original group of circles in design the ones above i added
I think these weird things in some designs come from [1] an imported file or [2] a strange sequence on how they were originally created. The #2 issue can never be solved because nobody ever remembers what they did exactly for the last 20-30 steps.
