Do you have an air assist kit? Otherwise also try to disable air assist, because there was a glitch in one firmware version that cause a short moment where the laser got stuck. I don’t think it has an influence here, but it’s worth a try.
You weren’t able to open the top plate? There are no cables attached to that.
I adjusted the rails again and also turned off air assist and still the same, very blurry on bi directional.
How tight should the rails be? i can tighten it so its hard to move or does it need to be looser?
I think i got it all working now, i had to loosen a little and adjust the rails a bit more until they kind of free move when i tilt the machine.
Im now engraving on bi-directional and coming out clear
