Brand new laptop dosent recognize fiber laser
Have you installed the proper driver? Did you purchase the add-on license to support Galvo laser controllers?
Is this the first time you’ve used your galvo?
Yes, I have actually it works in a pc computer but not on any of my other 2 laptops even try in one of my son
I did I have installed the galvo drivers
The drivers for EZCad and Lightburn are not compatible…
It sounds like you have a driver issue with the other two computers, since it works on the original.
Can you see it in the device manager?
I remove the ezcad driver multiple times and installed the Lightburn drivers for the galvo lasers I paid for the license yes
Can you see the laser in the device manager?
Yes but on Lightburn is not detected
People run different operating systems with the same hardware… I will assume windows.
I don’t know how to check for authorization for using that port is set for Windows. It sounds like Windows sees it, but won’t allow access.
On Ubuntu I have to set the permissions for a normal user.
If you know how, you could try running Lightburn from an administrative account or level.
In the end, you’re not providing very much information other than Doesn’t work. Please post pictures of your Windows Device Manager showing the driver for the Fiber Laser, as well as pictures of your Help/License Management screen from LightBurn to verify for sure that you have the proper Galvo license required. Any pictures of what exactly you are seeing will be most helpful to try and assist you better.
