Bug report - Resize Slots

I ran into a minor bug in the resize slot tool. Resizing tabs, on a file as pictured here, selects and resizes the rectangles (I would think that this would be considered a slot, but tabs is what locates them). After resizing, using the measuring tool, it shows that the width has been adjusted correctly. However, if I click on the rectangle (which is converted to a path) it shows the original width in the measurements on the toolbar. If I save the file and reopen it, clicking on one of the rectangles will reflect the size correctly.

This is where the new width is incorrectly reported

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are in progress doing some rework to this new feature, as we speak. We will have a revised version coming out very shortly (1.3.01) which provides resize of the rectangles as well. If willing, we would be interested to see if this latest sorts what you are observing.

Can you show the original width as well?

I will let you know as soon as I get the update.

Ok, I think I know what caused this - I forgot to mark the shapes as altered, so those properties weren’t updated. Testing a fix now.

Hi and a happy new year.
I am new(ish) to Lightburn and love it. However I am having an issue when resizing slots, I don’t seem to be able to convert them to a path, so I can resize. Any advice would be great, Thanks in advance

Can you elaborate? Convert to Path is likely not required since slots are almost certainly already a path shape. You’re probably having a different issue, but without seeing the file you’re trying to use it’s impossible to say.

Thanks for the reply Oz … but sorted now. Cheers. Mike
