I could not find anything on this exact problem, sorry if repeating it here…
I have a D1 Pro. I notice often that the framing and burning are slightly off from each other.
For example, if i have a board 5" wide and design something that is 4.75". I can position the cross hairs about .125" from the left. Run the framing and it looks like it will burn perfectly in the center of the board. But when i start the burn, its perhaps .125 over to the right every time and therefor the whole burn comes out right up against the right side of the board.
I have gotten use to just starting slightly more to the left to get it centered properly but I should not have to do that. Dont know if its something in lightburn or the D1 Pro but is there a way to calibrate or put in an adjustment so things burn exactly where the framing shows it will burn otherwise there is no real point to framing.
Thanks!
Mine was on with a X -16mm. Dont know why, never changed that but i will try it disabled.
Thank you!
Don’t disable, you need the offset. Mine does not, that is why mine is turned off.
You need the correct offset.
Yep, tried it and it was about an inch to the right too much. lol
Guess i will play with the offset.
