This is the motherboard that I have to replace but the new one does not have a connection for the PROBE cable.
I don’t know if it is essential in the machine or not since I don’t know what function it fulfills.
i would imagine the probe wire might be for the little RED dot laser
But i wouldnt know really

Probably just a universal board for laser and CNC, which is used to set Z to surface of project.
is odd is in the bundle of wires that take PWM and 24v though
So i am assuming it goes stright into the laser module

@guajiro2000 what colour is your machine. Gray or Purplish?
The color is gray.
The manufacturer on their website says that it is a “flame detector” but I am not sure.
Best to write to them asking details on how to swap boards then just in case.
They can be used for various purposes.
Only guessing, but it’s probably the same cable used for the auto focus on the L2 and either packed by accident or “not used” on the P series but included because it’s cheaper/easier than managing multiple SKUs
