Calling external post-processing script

Hello,
I have seen many posts requesting for some specific features like custom gcode post-processors.
My machine is a router and does not respond nicely to ‘LinuxCnc’ post processor (for example M4 is not recognized).
Would it be possible to call an external script from within LB ? That would be awesome.
As an example/explanation in the printer world, this instructable:
