When I adjust the step length the camera alignment goes off completely and vice versa. If I calibrate the alignment on the camera the step length changes and messes up, Is there an order that this should done in I have tried both ways or am I missing something? Thank for your help.
If you change the step length you are changing how far the laser moves in the real world when told to move a specific distance. You will need to re-do the camera alignment if you change step length, because the camera system calibrates to the physical scale of output produced by the laser.
Calibrating the camera will not change anything to do with your step length - only the other way around.
