Camera calibration on x and y

Every time I restart lightburn I have to recalibrate my camera and when in use it offsets 1/2 inch of on the x and y axis. Any help would be appreciated.

The camera calibration is extremely sensitive to the camera position & angle, to the extent that any motion throws off the relation between the image and the platform.

If your camera is mounted inside the lid, the lid must stop at precisely the same position every time it’s opened. Some folks have added cables to hold the lid slightly below the point where the gas struts run out of travel. I’ve learned to keep my hand off the lid handle when it’s open, because just that slight force is enough to cause trouble.

The camera holder must be absolutely rigid. I used good-quality foam tape to hold it in place, then snugged the screws so nothing wobbles:

Then I found the lens was slightly loose in its threaded mount, despite having a lock screw, so I tucked a snippet of wire insulation into the screw hole as a cushion to soak up the last bit of slack:

If none of those improve your situation, show-n-tell us more about the camera and its mount so we can see what you see.

I will check these things and get back to you. Thanks for the help.
