Camera is washed out

I have 8mp but the capture image is very washed out . How to do a contrast on the image or sharper so it shows the detail on the image

In the camera tag there is a check for fade…try that

I did and its a little better but still need more sharpness and focus
the caliberation took a long time since it could not get the picture
at all. the best I got was like 0.85 . I dont know how come i cant get 0.3 or so
So before caliberation and lens setup is there anything else i need to do
with the camera or any other step
