Hello, I am writing to you in a last effort for some guidance with the camera alignment. I bought an OmTech Polar Lite 55W CO2 laser(see below link for details). Have had it a few weeks now and have been on the phone with their support for at least 20 hours on multiple calls. I am not unfamiliar with a laser as I have 2 galvo’s. Anyway, after going through all the doing the lens and camera alignment about 30 times, I still have the actual engraved material being about 10mm off on the Y axis and about 20mm off on the X axis. The actual text I laser is too high on the material and too far to the left on the material. I have a couple questions. Many times when calibrating the lens I get a black screen, but the score is acceptable at about .25, but the screen is black. Omtech support tells me the black screen does not matter and to go ahead and accept the score. Is this correct? Also, many times the returned score is also good at about .25, but the screen looks like a kaleidoscope. They also tell me this is ok. Is this correct?
Also, one OmTech support guy tells me to tilt the Circles card toward the camera during lens calibration and one support guy says it doesn’t matter. Does it matter?
Lastly, a Lightburn issue. When I open lightburn, the window occupies the entire screen and the minimize, restore, and close buttons are not showing. Plus the shortcut bar at the bottom of the screen is not showing. How do I get lightburn to open full view normally?
Thank you.
