Can I control this controller with Lightburn?
Hi @iggycsi
I don’t recognise that as one of the DSP controllers LightBurn supports. It looks like a 4311 or PowerCut Zhiyuan-style controller, and I don’t believe LightBurn can control that directly.
For CO2 DSP machines, LightBurn supports Ruida, Trocen, and TopWisdom controllers. The presence of USB or Ethernet on the controller doesn’t necessarily mean it uses a protocol LightBurn can talk to.
If you want to use LightBurn with this machine, you would most likely need to replace the controller with a supported one and reconfigure/rewire the machine accordingly.
However, the easiest and quickest way to check would be to download and run the free trial and see if LightBurn can talk to it.
OK, Thank You !
USB, RJ-45, aviation (usually used for rotaries) or anything else could be used as a connector to about anything else. Just like the RJ-45 doesn’t mean it’s necessarily Ethernet.
Agree with @Dominic, download a trial version and see if it works.
