If you start the laser cutting/engraving, can you work on another graphic in LightBurn while the laser is working? I usually engrave selected objects. So will selecting another object after the job starts cause a problem? Along the same lines, will opening another project while one is engraving cause a problem?
From your profile it looks like you’re using a diode laser. You can work on other graphics and such within the current project while running. I would not try to work on another project in the same window while one is running. That being said, you can open a new window and work there.
File Menu> New Window.
