I am trying to import a file of an SVG that has nothing but typed in words. This file was created on Lightburn and emailed to me by my wife. When I import the SVG onto my lightburn it doesn’t recognize the letters as letters but as shapes, so there is no way of editing the text. Is there somthing I am missing ? can they be turned back to text?
Any help would be great, wife is very frustrated after she typed everything in and now once loaded is not editable as text.

Why not sent the lightburn file?
When LightBurn exports an SVG, it converts everything to generic primitives, like lines and splines.
If you want to be able to edit the text, do as Mike suggests and have her save the file as an LBRN (or LBRN2) project file, not an SVG.
