Cannot turn off laser module

I have an AENBUSLM T1 and need some help. The instruction manual for the T1 was difficult at best to understand getting up and running with my T1. I got the 80W module with the built-in air pump. I started out with burning the test grid. Which was going fine until the power cord and cable to my laptop got unexpectedly unplugged in the middle of burning the test grid. I turned off the laser module, and the main power switch. I then reconnected everything and was able to reconnect to the program, but now whenever I turn on the laser module power switch, the laser fires. It fires regardless of connection. Anytime I turn the main power switch on, the built-in fan starts up, then push the button turning on the laser head, the laser fires. No laptop connected, no program running. Is there some way to reset the laser module?

It’s always smart to contact the vendor if it’s a reasonable time frame from purchase.

You’ll probably have to check to see if the PWM signal is stuck on (high) on the laser module. They generally have on power, ground and pwm. Some of the high power ones, will have multiple power and/or ground connections to ensure there is enough current flow.

Can you post a link to the machine/module?

Here is a link to the Temu page.

I tried to run an engraving file to see if that would override the firing but it can’t. It will run the pattern, but the laser is always firing at 100% from the starting corner. In the manual they walk you through using the software that you have to find/download (SRWOR), but the manual also gives you the link to LaserGRBL. Wether I am running LaserGRBL or the OTHER SOFTWARE, I can connect to the engraver, turn on the main power switch, which powers up the internal air-pump and fan, I can move it around, but cannot control the laser module. It’s firing at 100% as soon as I press the power button.

It got to be a control board or laser module. Without more information, like technical voltage readings can we really help much. These machines are pretty tough, but they are also highly complicated, such as the laser module itself.

You can unplug what you can and plug it back in, such as the laser head. There are some buttons/knobs on the top, do they do anything?

Do you have a voltmeter?

If this is new and within warranty or not, I’d contact the vendor and at least start a conversation.
