Can't change power and speed

I Can’t change the power and speed.
when I change my power and speed in Lightburn it will not change anything on my machine.
I am using a BRM100160 Laser and an Ruida 6332G controller.
What am I doing wrong?

From your description, nothing. When you say “it will not change anything on the machine” are you saying that if you set a cut to run at 1mm/sec, and another to run at 10mm/sec, they both run at the same speed?

If you run a cut at 50mm/sec and 100% power it’s the same as one run at 50mm/sec and 10% power?

If I set a cut at 10 mm/sec and click on download the controller says it’s on 300 mm/sec ( in red ).
if I set a different number it still says 300 mm/sec.

That number is the jogging speed set on the controller itself. It’s got nothing to do with the file. The speeds for the file will be shown in the layers list, below the filename & X/Y/Z positions. If you press the ‘Speed’ button on the controller, it’ll be set to 300 mm/sec.

You were simply reading the numbers from the wrong place.
