Hi I have upgraded to a 60 w power supply and tube . It will not engrave a photo all i get is a black mess .I have tried directly in to lightburn and also from photoshop gold metod.
When engraving say a letter at speed i get dots at the end of each pass . Could this be the power supply ? or is it going to be the rhoda controller
Dots at the end of scans sounds like you might not have the power supply wired. I saw a Facebook post that looked like you had looped two connections from the power supply together (H & L). You should wire the L to L-ON on the Ruida controller.
Red wire to water inlet side, black wire to L-ON (via a meter, if you have one).
Make sure you aren’t getting any electrical arcing due to poor connection.
