Can't use my full work area, limit switches triggered

Hi All

Back with another question :slightly_smiling_face:

I have a modified Sculpfun S9, i’ve set the working area to 350x850, I have limit switches on both sides on both X and Y axis.

If i draw a square in Lightburn thats 350x850 and try to frame it after homing, the laser hits the limitswitch on the Y axis.

Whats causing this?

The controller thinks you have a 395×900 machine.

Change those values to match reality and the controller won’t try to go beyond the limits.

If the limits you set above exactly match the absolute maximum travel size, then you must decrease them by 2 mm to allow for the switch pulloff distance.
