I’m currently using a rotary table with repeat marking feature to cut out some organic material with my haotian galvo. I’ve linked up my pedal so i can press to activate the cut however despite setting it up all correctly in the port settings, i can only make it frame but not cut. Is there a way around this?
Just a thought: If you press the ‘play’-button with your mouse, do you directly engrave or only open the ‘framing’-window? There is a ‘require framing before start’ option in the device settings, maybe this could be your issue.
Danny, Im sorry, didn’t make it down to the shop last night.
Got a couple Saturday to dos and then I can get down there this afternoon.
Haven’t forgotten about the test.
OK. didn’t have any problem using pedal to start Repeat Marking. If I clicked around enough with the mouse first I could get to the point it wouldn’t work, but if I went Rotary tools> Repeat Marking>Footswitch worked 100% of the time. If I went Repeat Marking>Start (Mouse) and then when finished clicked the foot switch it worked. I did have my IO port on door protect, had to switch it to Start Marking. My foot switch is on 15, yours could be on 14 or 15 (or XorGo, off the top of my head don’t know which IO that one is).
With the ports and laser settings up, you can press the foot switch and the corresponding input square will turn green. It dynamically shows the status.
Thats really strange, as my IO settings are exactly the same as yours. I’ll try reboot, replug the ports and see if that helps. Thanks for testing it for me though, I appreciate it.
